'Série H' is a research I did for a class. Brief was to create and object that explores the process of vacuum forming.
Experiencing the machine led my curiosity to divert it from primary use.
Air that is normally sucked up to form the plastic on the mould was instead blown to form a plastic bubble.
These half plastic pillows were then cut out with different extrusion profiles to determine the final shape.
Result is a series of five sculptures which tend to express their own origin through their actual materiality: plasticity, pressure, air flow.
